Meet the Photo Studio Crew of Beliani
Where did it all start?
Before getting straight to the numbers, let’s take a look at where it all began. Back in 2014 when Photo Studio was founded in the German town of Grunlow. Since then, a medium-sized studio was exchanged to a high-end workshop in Rajkowo, Poland with the area of 1 200 m2 allowing them to follow every grand idea that they have.
Photo Studio Teams
They’ve started with a small but talented team, and now they are a group of 22 creative people, divided into 5 strong teams:
Assistants
They are the first people who get to touch the products in the Photostudio, and the team couldn’t do their work without them. They’re responsible for unpacking the products, assembling them and preparing alongside with stylists to make the space look neat and beautiful.
Stylists
Experts at combining styles, colours, materials and more together. They come up with ideas on how to present our products in the best way possible, creating unique interiors that not only showcase our pieces, but inspire our customers to refresh their own homes!
Photographers
After the set is prepared, they work their magic with cameras. Passionate, relentless and hard-working, they make sure every side of products are showcased on the photos, capturing even the smallest details. But capturing photos aren’t the only thing they are responsible for - they work on a variety of creative projects, including creating photos for newsletters or lifestyle guides!
Filmmakers
Photos are only one side of the coin when it comes to showcasing our products. To give them more depth, or display their features, we work with amazing video makers who create the most captivating shots. Not only that, they create a variety of creative videos - interviews, movies about our teams or product collections.
Retouchers
Last, but not least, there are retouchers, who work miracles with photos - they make sure the sky is in that deep blue colour, grass is greener on our side and that all pictures are smooth. This all takes product photos to a next level!
On to the daily routine
Every week Photo Studio releases even 260 images created to the highest standards and the contemporary trends. They capture the beauty of your favourite furniture and accessories, but also deal with special marketing projects. Seasonal and promotional campaigns like Christmas photoshoot or our employees’ favourite décor styles are pretty important, as through them, we help customers discover the latest trends, give them some great interior decorating ideas and allow them to get to know us.
Step by step
Are you wondering how it all works? Well, they first they plan the photoshoots that are going to take place, then they order the products to their studio. After that, when they get their products, assistants start their work, and prepare everything alongside with stylists.
But it isn’t always just traditional product photos - often photostudio prepare various other shots. Lifestyle pictures tell the story of a product, or a whole collection. How it can be used, in what interior would they fit nicely. All that will help our customers make the best choice for their homes.
When all is in the right place, the equipment ready and the lights positioned, that’s the time for the photographers. Taking pictures might be their job, but it’s also their hobby - that’s why they do their job with such a pleasure. Besides them, there are multiple filmmakers working on the set. They make sure that the most important features of the products are captured on a video.
After multiple takes, the best photographs are chosen and uploaded onto computers, and that’s when the retouchers are stepping in. That’s the last step before photos get published on the website. They look for any imperfections and get rid of them, as well as make sure the colours are true to the product - that’s why when you get your item, it will look exactly the same in real life as it did online.
