Dear Beliani Customer Service,
I hope you are doing well.
I am very interested in purchasing your BRUNOY 140 × 200 cm Electric Adjustable Ottoman Bed, but before placing my order I would like to ask a few questions, as choosing the right bed is extremely important for me due to my medical conditions.
I have Stage IV breast cancer, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis in my cervical and lumbar spine, and chronic back pain. Because of this, I am extremely sensitive to pressure points.
I recently purchased an electric adjustable bed from another company, but unfortunately I had to return it because it caused severe back pain. I have attached a photo of that bed base for reference.
As you can see, it had two separate sleeping platforms, each with its own metal frame. In the centre there were two parallel metal support rails with a gap between them, creating a very noticeable central support area. Unfortunately, despite using a premium latex mattress, I could clearly feel this area through the mattress, which caused severe pain across my back. The company has now agreed to collect the bed and issue me with a full refund.
Before ordering your bed, I would be very grateful if you could answer the following questions:
1. When the bed is completely flat, is the sleeping surface as even and uniform as possible, or is there any central support bar, ridge or gap that could potentially be felt through the mattress?
2. Is this bed suitable for use with a 100% latex mattress or a foam and latex mattress, and do you foresee any issues with these types of mattresses?
3. Is the mattress fully supported across the entire sleeping surface?
4. If, despite choosing the correct mattress, the bed proved unsuitable for my medical needs, would I be able to return it under your return policy?
5. I noticed that the current estimated availability is October. Is there any possibility that it could become available sooner, or is October the earliest expected delivery date?
6. Do you offer VAT Relief for disabled customers purchasing an adjustable bed? If so, could you please let me know how I can apply?
I understand the current estimated delivery is October, and I am happy to wait if necessary. However, because of my health conditions, I would like to make sure this is the right bed before placing my order.

Answering your questions.
1. There is a frame, however this should not be felt through the mattress.
2. You may use any mattress on the bed frame.
3. Mattress is fully supported by the bed frame.
4. Yes, you have 14 day free return policy as long as original packaging is intact.
5. We're waiting for a delivery from manufacturer, so unfortunately it will be back available in October.
6. Unfortunately we do not offer any VAT relief.
We've tried answering your questions as best as we can, however if you're unhappy with the bed when it arrives you may return it within the 14 days period.

Hello, please can you let me know, does this come in 3 pieces, 2 x half bases and the electric motor and then assemble when it’s delivered ? I need to make sure I can get it upstairs

Although the bed requires assembly, please bear in mind that all parts are delivered together in one box.
We also offer additional delivery services which may help. You can find these listed underneath the product price on the product page, or during checkout.
